How much does tetrify Pro cost?

The cost of tetrify Pro varies based on your region and subscription plan. You can choose from monthly or annual plans as well as a limited time only lifetime plan. Regional pricing is managed by your platform’s app store.

Does tetrify Pro apply to all platforms?

When you get it from the App Store, tetrify Pro is tied to your Apple ID and will apply to the devices using your Apple ID, meaning you do not have to buy tetrify Pro again for the Mac or iPadOS. Subscription (non-lifetime) options also support family sharing.

In the future your subscription will also be tied to your tetrify Account, allowing you to use your subscription in devices outside of the Apple ecosystem.

Note that real-time sync may have a limit on how many synced devices you can have active at the same time; this limit has not been finalized but sync will support at least 3 concurrent devices as part of tetrify Pro.

How does “lifetime” work with tetrify Pro?

tetrify Pro Lifetime offers a one-time payment for unlimited access to all premium features that are and will be included in tetrify Pro, without any recurring fees or subscription renewals. This means if you purchase the lifetime plan now, you’ll have permanent access to all current and future premium features available within tetrify Pro.

tetrify Pro is the subscription that aims to satisfy the needs of 90% of power users. There can be extra features which have inherit extra reoccurring costs, such as AI integration with platforms such as OpenAI or Claude. These extra features will not be included in the tetrify Pro subscription and will be offered as an optional add-on on top of tetrify Pro for those who want it, both for subscription and non-subscription users.

That being said, in our development we do everything to avoid the need for these add-ons. For example, we are hoping to introduce the ability to use your own ChatGPT API key or use local, on-device LLMs which will come at no extra cost and be included in your regular tetrify Pro subscription.

What happens if tetrify stops getting updates?

While we are absolutely committed to continuously improving and updating tetrify, we understand that you may have the concern that any product can end up being discontinued. This can happen to any product and software, and we recognize that it’s important to be sure you can retain your data. If tetrify were to shut down, we’d likely look into open-sourcing it and letting the community take over. Actually open-sourcing tetrify is something we’re looking to regardless.

tetrify does not have an inherit dependency on a server for most of its features and all the data is by default stored on your device. Therefore, as a tetrify Pro user, you will retain access to most premium features included in your subscription at the time of purchase.

We are looking into introducing better ways to export all your notes out of the app into formats such as JSON and Markdown, both for easy backup and so you can own your data so in any scenario you can be sure you have full control.
